Making Champagne Chocolate Truffles Easily

When one eats a big meal, he will usually be served some kind of special dessert in order to have a sweet taste in his mouth. Among the list of desserts out there, one of the best tasting desserts would be none other than champagne chocolate truffles. If one finds this kind of thing interesting, he may actually make this dessert right at home.

Now the very first thing to do here would be to get a three fourths cup of butter and put it on a pan that is over a low fire. Once the butter has already been melted, then the next thing to do would be to put in some chocolate powder and some sweetened condensed milk. From there, mix the ingredients very well until they are all blended.

After that, take out the pan from the stove and pour this mix into a small bowl. Once the it is in the bowl, add some vanilla extract and once again, start stirring the mix. The objective here would be to make sure that the vanilla extract is well mixed in with the other ingredients.

After the vanilla extract has already been mixed inside the bowl, then one should now set aside the mix so that it cools down. When it has become less hot, then he may now add a little bit of champagne into the small bowl. He just has to make sure to put the right amount otherwise he will really taste the bitterness of the alcohol.

Once that has already been done, then he may now try to refrigerate the mix by placing it in the fridge for a while. Now just to give a clue to those who are beginners, one should leave it there for around four hours until it would harden. Now while the mix is inside the fridge, one can now grab a hold of a small pie dish and put some cocoa or chocolate powder in it.

Once it has already been hardened a little bit, one may now take small pieces of the mix and make small rolls while rolling it around the pie dish. One has to make some truffle roles while rolling it around chocolate powder. After rolling and putting some powder on each dough piece, place all of them on a cookie sheet.

After putting all of the dough pieces on to the cookie sheet, place the sheet into the fridge and just leave it there for one or two hours. Do not forget to check from time to time to see if it is hardened enough. After a sufficient amount of time, the truffles may now be taken out of the fridge but it has to be left alone to warm up just a little bit before it can be served.

So basically that is a simple recipe on how to make champagne chocolate truffles. As one can see, it is extremely easy to create this kind of dish. The best part about it is that it can be used for formal dinners or any sort of gathering where dessert is a big fuss.
